Estate grounds worker/gardener 40 hours per week 8 am–5 pm £22.440 per annum we are a charity that manages whiteley village retirement community, founded over a hundred years ago in walton on thames, surrey, and the village located in 225 acres of beautiful grounds and is a very special place to live and work. about the role the role will be to assist in a small estates team to carry out the landscape maintenance of whiteley village estate to a standard which provides a safe and enjoyable landscaped environment set in a conservation area. about you we are looking for a proactive team player with experience in gardening, grounds, and woodland maintenance. you will have experience in the work of the estate equipment such a ride on mowers, tractors, chainsaws, strimming and woodchippers. excellent customer service and communication skills are required and knowledge of it systems as your work tasks will be assigned from a digital helpdesk to a pda. what’s in it for you an excellent working environment, life assurance, pension, generous holiday allowance, free parking. an enhanced dbs check will be required for this role.
