positions in this function include those responsible for designing/developing, programming, maintaining and documenting all enhancements and processes related to internal software product. provides operational analysis utilized for decision making. makes recommendations based on the analysis and provides explanations for output results as needed.

primary responsibilities: 

design, develop, maintain, and support programming enhancements related to an internal software product design, develop, maintain, and support reports, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics for the software product identify, create project plans, code, and implement software enhancements support documentation and training team produce and publish scheduled reports, dashboards, and metrics based on defined schedules provide explanations for reporting results as necessary assess, interpret, and document customer needs and business requirements collaborate and communicate with internal and external customers solves complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks translates concepts into practice via design, coding, and maintenance of assigned software provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues acts as a technical resource

required qualifications:

ba/bs in mis, statistics, mathematics, computer science, business or a related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with equivalent experience sql server experience intermediate level of proficiency in microsoft access, word advanced level of proficiency in microsoft excel; ability to write complex formulas full covid-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. unitedhealth group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

preferred qualifications:

experience with powerpoint relevant operations and/or pharmacy operations experience intermediate level of programming knowledge (c#, uft, visual basic scripting) and of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse, sharepoint, ssis and ssrs

colorado, connecticut or nevada residents only: the salary range for colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.  the salary range for connecticut/nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. in addition to your salary, unitedhealth group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). no matter where or when you begin a career with unitedhealth group, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives.
