your role:

at milliporesigma, the senior manufacturing operator plays a crucial role in manufacturing a quality product to our customers, by bringing a holistic approach to daily production.  the senior manufacturing operator will drive production fulfillment and work closely with other team members in maximizing overall production efforts in a team environment.

fulfill production job duties in a cleanroom iso 9001 environment.carry out mechanical setups, feed machines, carry out basic maintenance tasks and execute various transactions in data software.contribute to various department improvement efforts. c shift: monday – friday 11:00pm – 7:00am

physical attributes:

lift, push, and or pull up to 45 lbsstand for an 8-hour shift.

who you are:

basic qualifications:

high school diploma or ged  2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

preferred qualifications:

vocational tech trainingassociates degree or higherable to follow safe work practicesfamiliarity with eh&s, iso, cgmp, and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environmentcertified lean/six sigma experience (e.g. belt certifications, root cause analysis training, and kaizen experience)proficient in microsoft applicationsknowledge of lock-out-tag-out and electrical safetyinterpersonal and teamwork involvement
