Laboratory Service Assistant II Phoenix and Surrounding Areas - Phoenix jobs

**Must be available for travel - Needed to provide state wide coverage-

This position is responsible for organizing and implementing packing and shipping of specimens from the practice to the laboratory as well as ongoing field support and training of assigned existing clients in the territory.

Packing specimens for shipping
Coordinating with courier service for pick-up of Millennium lab specimens
Assistance with questions or other tasks related to the reporting of Millennium lab results
Inventorying and ordering the lab supplies that are furnished by or purchased from Millennium
Schedule and execute in-service training at customer sites
Train clinic staff in proper processing of requisitions and sample collection procedure
Provide regular follow up and refresher training to customers as required
Provide Management with weekly progress reports
Identify, communicate and help resolve any service issues, billing issues or customer complaints
Work as a team with the territory sales rep to ensure excellent on-going customer service and satisfaction with company’s products and services as required
As required, assist company in obtaining information missing from requisitions in order to facilitate timely specimen processing
Develop close working relationship and collaborate with Lab staff, especially Billing & Data Entry
Regular and reliable attendance
Plan and execute visits to selected existing accounts in the territory as required.
Adhere to confidentiality (HIPAA) requirements
Adhere to all corporate compliance policies at all times and represent Millennium with the utmost professionalism and integrity

Ability to develop understanding of Millennium products and services
Required Experience:

Training and operational work experience
Experience in a customer service-oriented role
Prior experience working in a doctor’s office or hospital environment is desirable
Level of Education:

2 Year Degree
