Job Summary:

The HRIS Administrator will be responsible for working with agency subject matter experts on all Human Services Information System (HRIS) initiatives - including planning, coordination, implementation and optimization - while providing guidance and expertise in all system and process areas. The HRIS Administrator will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance of the HRIS system, and will continually identify creative solutions and opportunities for improvement, to ensure exceptional functionality. [This is an exempt position.]

Essential Functions of position:

Oversee and maintain optimal functionality of the organization’s HRIS system.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to other staff managing the HRIS
Collaborate with executive leadership, HR staff and other decision makers to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases, and implement appropriate solutions.
Partner with HR leaders to standardize process and procedures so as to optimize efficiencies across multiple platforms
Partner with HR leaders on the HRIS strategy, as well as facilitate HRIS project committees to enhance configuration and functionality
Design with the team, HR technology enhancements and best practices for HRIS on the current platform as well as cloud based systems
Work closely with vendor counterparts to oversee the implementation of time sensitive break/fix issues and the successful release of system enhancements and upgrades to products
Work closely with business partners to ensure data integrity by improving administrative service tasks, reducing redundancies and maximizing efficiencies.
Serve as lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects
Provide HRIS maintenance and support. Assist with the execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and participate in system testing.
Assist in broadening internal knowledge of Dayforce through hands-on training to multiple support teams.
Troubleshoot other system issues and strategic initiatives as requested by the SVP of Operations
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required
A minimum of 3 years leading Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce preferred
Extensive knowledge of current best practices in customer service
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the System meets organizational needs and goals
Strong technology expertise and advanced analytical skills; ability to lead, develop, conduct, test and document the operation of an HRIS.
Knowledge and understanding of the complexities of system integration and change management in order to maintain the viability and credibility of an HRIS.

A COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of the position. One COVID-19 shot is acceptable, contingent on the individual receiving the second shot within the allotted time frame.
